Understand How the NDIS Code of Conduct Protects You with Better Life Care Services

The NDIS Code of Conduct outlines the standards that NDIS workers and providers must follow to ensure the safety and well-being of people with disabilities. It requires providers to respect individual rights, act with integrity and transparency, and ensure that services are delivered safely and competently. The Code also emphasizes the importance of raising concerns about any issues affecting the quality of supports, while taking all reasonable steps to prevent and address violence, exploitation, neglect, and abuse.

This Code applies to both registered and unregistered NDIS providers, as well as those delivering Commonwealth Continuity of Support Programme services. Resources such as posters and fact sheets are available to help workers and providers understand their obligations. The NDIS Workforce Capability Framework also provides practical guidance on how to translate the Code into actions that ensure quality service for NDIS participants.
